A Hydration Control Admixture is a material that is added to concrete or mortar in order to control the rate of hydration and, as a result, the rate of strength development.


Liquid:


Liquid is a natural substance that helps in maintaining the balance of water in the body. It helps to maintain hydration level and electrolyte balance in human body, when consumed orally it travels through digestive tract and gets absorbed into the blood stream. When extra amount of liquid is consumed above what our body can hold, it goes out through urine or sweat.

Powder:


Powder is a hygroscopic solid and is used to prevent the evaporation of water from the mixture. It helps in controlling temperature, taste, and viscosity of drinks. The most commonly used powder are calcium carbonate (GCC), titanium dioxide (TiO2), silicon dioxide (SiO2) magnesium oxide (MgO), aluminum oxide (Al2 O3) iron oxide (Fe2 O3).
