Product Definition:
A hydraulic cylinder is a mechanical actuator that uses pressurized fluid to generate linear motion. The fluid is typically oil, but can also be water or gas. The cylinder consists of a barrel sealed by two end caps, one of which contains the piston assembly and the other contains the rod assembly. When pressure is applied to the fluid in the barrel, it forces the piston assembly and rod assembly apart, producing linear motion.
Hydraulic cylinders are used extensively in machinery and equipment where precise control or large amounts of force are required.
Internal Threaded Ductile Heads:
Internal threaded ductile heads are used in hydraulic cylinder components to provide a means of mounting and securing the cylinder head on the main body. They are available in two forms, one is with an internal thread on the top for secure mounting while another has an external thread which can be used as a tap for making M8 screw holes through them.
Head Caps:
The head caps are used to cover the ends of hydraulic cylinder. They provide a seal around the end of cylinder and act as an O-ring.
