HFC R-134A:


R-134A is a Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) with greenhouse gas emissions. It has been used as an aerosol propellant and in refrigerators & air conditioners. R-134a was phased out by most countries due to the adoption of HFCs with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) or Global Warming Potential (GWP).


HFC R-410A:


HFC R-410A is a Hydrofluorocarbon used in refrigerants. It has similar properties to that of chlorofluorocarbons but with one major difference, it does not deplete the ozone layer like other refrigerants do. Owing to this unique characteristic, HFC R- 410A emerged as an ideal substitute for CFCs and HCFCs which were previously used as refrigerants globally.
