Industrial grade is also known as Laboratory Grade or Test Grade. It is a cellulose ether that has been processed to remove most of its natural content and to increase its purity level. Its end-use application includes cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food additives and others.


Cosmetic Grade:


Cosmetic grade is the highest quality grade of hydroxyethyl cellulose used in cosmetics. It has a purity level of 99% and contains no additives or fillers. Hydroxyethyl cellulose is produced from the reaction between ethylene oxide and glucose which takes place in an organic solvent such as ethanol.


Application Insights:
