Hydroxyethyl urea, also known as hydroxyethylurea or HEU, is a synthetic organic compound that is used as a stabilizer in cosmetics and personal care products.


Powder:


Powder is a fine, dry, white crystalline solid and has the appearance of very light snow. It is insoluble in water and most organic solvents. The product can be either manufactured naturally or synthetically by using various chemical formulations.


Liquid:


Liquid is a colorless and water-soluble solid material that is made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur. Liquid urea can be produced by two methods: the wet process and dry process. In the wet process method liquid urea is made by combining carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of ammonia; whereas in dry process method liquid urea is manufactured from silica sand which gets reacted with hydrochloric acid to get rid of impurities.
