Product Definition:
An incinerator is a furnace for burning solid wastes. It is an enclosed chamber in which waste is burned under controlled conditions, producing heat to convert the waste into ash, gas, and/or steam.
Rotary Kiln:
Rotary kiln is a heat treatment system which consists of two interlocking rotating steel drums. The outer drum has an opening at the top and bottom through which feed material can be passed. As the fuel is passed through the first chamber, it is heated to approximately 1,500°C by passing air or other gases around it. The hot combustion gas thus generated is then directed into the second chamber where waste materials are burned at even higher temperatures.
Fluidized Bed:
Fluidized bed is a technology used in the incineration process. It helps in reducing ash and fly ash, thus making it suitable for use as an alternative to conventional solid waste disposal. The fluidized bedding technology is used with thermal treatment processes such as pyrolysis and gasification which help in increasing energy recovery by up to 50% when compared with traditional technologies.
