Aluminum air knives are used in industrial applications to cut the gas or vapor flow. It is also known as cold cutting device, it works on the principle of shock wave created by rapid movement of knife through the gas/vapor and due to this reason it cuts out particles and reduces noise during operation. Aluminum air knives have replaceable blades which makes them easy to clean and maintain, they can be disassembled for cleaning as compared to steel counterparts.
Stainless Steel Air Knives:
Air knives are used to reduce the turbulence in a stream of air by using the principle of aerodynamics. The working principle is based on the suction cup attached with an armature which creates a vacuum and attracts particles. The particles are then collected on a filter which is usually mounted outside the system, however some systems have it inside the system.
