Carbothermal reduction and nitridation method are used in the industrial aluminum nitride market for production of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) and colemanite. These methods are majorly used for reducing impurities present in the feedstock such as carbon, iron, silicon, manganese & other metals along with nitrogen oxides.
