Warm Forging:


Warm forging is a process in which the metalworking operations are carried out at elevated temperatures. The purpose of warm forging is to reduce the size of the cold work pieces and make them suitable for hot working. In this process, both high as well as low carbon steel can be employed wherein it saves energy by reducing or eliminating the need for subsequent cold work.
