Relative Humidity Sensor:


Relative humidity sensor is a device that measures the relative humidity in the air. It does not require any liquid or gaseous sample to be sent into the sensor, it works on the principle of capacitive sensing. The working principle behind these sensors is based on two electrodes (plus and minus) connected to an integrated circuit which acts as a bridge between analog and digital systems.


Absolute Humidity Sensor:


Absolute humidity sensor is used to measure the amount of water vapor in the air. It is an electronic device that works on the principle of capacitive sensing, where a dry material (sensor) holds a charge and as more moisture gets present in the air, it causes disruption in electric field around it and due to this change in electric field, sensor reacts and gives output.
