For example, if 60% of nickel and 40% of cadmium is used in a battery, it would be called a NiCad (nickel-cadmium) battery.


NiMH Batteries:


Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) is a rechargeable battery technology that uses the combination of nickel and metal hydride. The NiMH battery has higher energy density as compared to conventional batteries having a capacity of 1.2V or 1.3V per cell, which results in increased power output for a longer duration of time with lesser charging cycles.
