An Intelligent RTU (remote terminal unit) is a device that collects and processes data from instruments or sensors at a remote site, and then sends the processed data back to a central location for further analysis. Wireless RTU:


Wireless RTU (Remote terminal unit) is a device used to connect two devices wirelessly. It can be connected to another device via wireless or hard-wired connection. Wireless RTU has the ability to establish a connection between data, voice and video streaming from one source to another location at a distance of up to 5 miles away.


Wired RTU:


Wired RTU is a device that enables remote monitoring and control of process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and others. It provides data acquisition (DAQ) systems with analog or digital input channels to measure real-time process variable. The DAQ system can be connected to the machine through a network cable for remote monitoring and controlling the measurements from an external computer.
