Product Definition:
L-Histidine is an amino acid that helps to make proteins. It is important for the body to have enough L-Histidine because it helps form enzymes and other proteins that are used in many different body functions.
Tablet:
Tablet is a device which is used for the packaging of drugs. It has two parts, namely the drug and the shell or cover. The drug part consists of powder or granules while the cover part comprises a thin layer of plastic film along with an adhesive that sticks to it. The tablet as seen above in figure 1 consists of four components namely; coating (shell), core, excipients (binding agents) and disintegrating agent/activator.
Capsule:
Capsule is a small package that holds the ingredients of the pharmaceutical drug. It protects the formulation from light, moisture, and other external factors. Capsules are available in different sizes and shapes depending on the ingredient or drugs being carried. The size of capsule depends on its content (ingredient), shape depends upon manufacturer’s desire (oval, cylindrical).
L-histidine capsules are used to treat gout arthritis; they help reduce pain.
Application Insights:
