AN / VVR-1 Type:


AN/VVR-1 is a laser warning device used to detect lasers, which have a wavelength greater than 590 nm and less than 1030 nm. It operates in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum. The AN/VVR-1 consists of an optical filter that blocks light with wavelengths greater than or equal to 590 nm and less than 1030 nm from entering into its detection domain.


AN / VVR-2 Type:


AN/VVR-2 is a laser warning receiver designed to detect and track aircraft, missiles, and satellites. It's used in the LWR that detects approaching threats and alerts the pilot by producing an audio & visual warning. The system consists of an antenna, transceiver module (containing display & speaker), sensor unit (laser detector), power supply, mounting hardware, remote control handset with batteries.
