An LCD driver probe card is a circuit board used to test the functionality of an LCD driver. It allows the technician to test all input and output signals, as well as measure voltages and currents. The probe card is inserted into the connector on the back of the LCD panel, then connected to a testing device such as a multimeter or oscilloscope. This allows for quick and easy diagnosis of any problems with the LCD driver.

Pitch is the distance between two consecutive teeth of a gear. The higher the number, the smaller is the pitch and vice versa. Generally, for a given size wheel with uniform tooth thickness, lower the number - smaller is its pitch and higher it gets bigger - wider is its pitch.


Fine Pitch:


Fine pitch is the term used for the distance between two electrodes in a given pixel. The closer the electrodes are, the more current can flow through them and hence, redder and brighter the pixel will be. In LCD driver probe cards fine-pitch is utilized to control individual pixels as well as groups of pixels on an individual basis. Fine-pitch varies from 1?m to 10?m or even more (10 ?mare).
