Stamping process lead frame is a type of heavy-duty aluminum extrusion that is used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCB). Leadframe can be defined as an assembly comprising one or more electrical conductors, which are fixed at one end and attached to a base or core through male connectors. The other end(s) consist of female sockets into which the corresponding conductors are inserted. Stamping process lead frames consists of two major operations namely die attach and wire bond.
