With towbar is a device that is used to connect the aircraft to the ground transport. It consists of a bar, which is connected by chains or ropes to two hooks at the rear of the aircraft. The other end of this chain or rope is connected to one of two vehicles (tow truck or car).


The towbar has an advantage over traditional winch systems in that it does not require any mechanical connections between vehicle.
