LAWS is a low-aromatic white spirit that is used as a solvent in many industrial and commercial applications. It has a lower odor than other solvents, which makes it preferable for use in applications where strong odors could be problematic. Additionally, LAWs is less flammable than other solvents, making it safer to use in areas where there is a risk of fire.

18% aromatic content, it’s also known as red spirit or naphtha. It is a petroleum product and is a mixture of hydrocarbons that are refined from the crude oil during the process of separation. The major components in 18% aromatic content include benzene, toluene and xylene.
17% Aromatic Content:
17% aromatic content is a type of hydrocarbon that has 17 carbon atoms in the main chain and at least one other carbon atom double bonded to the main chain. The most common types of 17% aromatics are benzene, toluene, xylene and cumene. They are also known as alkyne oligomers or A-oxides.
Application Insights:
Paints and varnishes was the largest application segment in 2016, with consumption of over 1.5 million tons that year. Paints and varnishes are used across a wide range of applications such as construction, automotive, decorative coatings, industrial machinery and equipment among others.
