Product Definition:
Low bio-persistent fibers are small, lightweight synthetic fibers that are less than two microns in diameter. They are used to make textiles and other materials that resist staining and fading. Low bio-persistent fibers also have a low environmental impact, because they break down quickly after being discarded.
Paper:
Paper is a material made from cellulose fibers, which is extracted from natural sources such as wood pulp. Cellulose fibers are mainly derived from plants and animals. Paper produced by the traditional method contains around 7% of bio-persistent fiber (BOPF) by weight of paper, whereas the current advanced technology based on chemical pulp produces around 4% to 5% BOPF content in office paper and newsprint products.
Blanket:
Blanket is a low bio-persistent fiber and it's used to manufacture various products such as home furnishings, automotive upholstery, industrial yarns and ropes. It has high tensile strength and durability along with being able to withstand extreme weather conditions. The product is made from wood pulp & cellulose fibers which are renewable materials that can be recycled several times without any loss in quality or strength.

The product is widely used in manufacturing polyester fibers, which are further processed to produce nylon, glass fiber, aramid fiber and others.
