Screw-Type Fuse:


Screw-type fuses consist of two metal plates, which are normally installed inside a plastic or ceramic casing. The fuse is designed to protect the circuit from damage due to abnormal electrical situations such as short circuits and overloads. It does not repair the damaged circuits but rather prevents new damages from occurring by breaking down electric current in controlled amounts.
