RVDT stands for Real-time Video Deposition Test. It is a test method used to evaluate the speed and accuracy of video deposition devices under controlled conditions. RVDT uses a high-speed camera to capture moving images which are then played back at regular intervals by the video deposition device. The time taken by this process is known as “Deposition Time”, and it varies depending on factors such as surface texture, lighting conditions, temperature etc.
