Permanent magnet magnetic sorter is a device used in sorting materials by their magnetic properties. It consists of two permanent magnets and a coil for detecting the polarity of the magnets. The two permanent magnets are placed facing each other with their poles aligned. Sorting takes place based on the lines of force that are generated between these two magnets and the material to be tested is placed between them, after which,the strength of the generated field is measured using an ammeter to determine sorting efficiency.
