Product Definition:
Mazut is a type of fuel oil that is used in large industrial plants. It is a heavy, viscous oil that is made from crude oil. Mazut has a high sulfur content and it is not used for transportation or heating purposes.
High Viscosity Oil:
High viscosity oil is a by-product formed in the processing of lubricating oils. It contains components such as wax, polymers and paraffins which are solid at normal room temperature but when mixed with water or another solvent forms a liquid slurry. The high viscosity of this liquid makes it ideal for use in industrial machinery and equipment where low speed is required such as pumps, bearings, valves etc.
Oil Sand:
Oil sand is fine particle matter that is generated during the process of drilling and refining crude oil. It has a high content of organic compounds, such as carbon, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur. The material is used in the production of mazut or methanol which has a significant share in global energy consumption.
