Normal MBE systems are used for the separation of solid from liquid and gas streams. It is a mechanical device that works on the principle of vapor compression, which is also known as condensation or sublimation. These devices work on different principles such as phase change or thermal change in case of solids and phase separation in case of liquids & gases.
Laser MBE Systems:
Laser MBE systems are used in the manufacturing of semiconductors, flat panel displays and photomasks. The laser beam is used to transfer patterns from one material to another with high accuracy and speed.
