Sevofluran is a semi-synthetic organic compound, which is also known as 9-fluorocarboxylic acid. It has a fluoro group and carboxylate anion (CAA). The molecule has C9F1 configuration in its chemical structure. It is usually found in nature as well as produced by some bacteria and plants.
