No more than 1KW (1,000W) is the maximum power that can be safely employed in a medium frequency induction heater. It is also known as the MW factor or MP Factor. The higher the number, generally means less power and better efficiency for medium frequency induction heaters.
The MW factor mainly depends on two factors: core material and temperature of magnetic field creation device (BDC).
1KW-20KW:
The 1KW-20KW is a medium frequency induction heater which is used for heating the water in medium frequency range. It operates at an average temperature of 100oC and has an input power rating of 20KW. The product can be used with electric heating systems, steam turbine based, gas turbines based or oil & gas turbines based systems.
