It involves breaking down the solid waste into small pieces so that they can be processed in a continuous manner. The method has several advantages over continuous melting processes including less power requirement, shorter processing time and production cycle along with ease of handling the melt by using filters instead of waiting for it to cool off which reduces reliability & efficiency levels further on.


Semi-continuous:


Semi-Continuous or Semi-Automatic filter is a type of air filter that has two distinct operating modes, namely continuous and intermittent. It can be used as an alternative to conventional filters in applications where the flow rate is not critical.


In semi-continuous mode, the system operates with a fixed capacity; however, it allows switching between low and high capacities by using valves at each end of the system.
