Methyl iso-butyl carbinol is an organic compound with the formula CH3CH2CH(OH)CH3. It is a colorless liquid that is miscible with water and most organic solvents. It occurs naturally in some fruits and vegetables.


Grade 99%:


Grade 99% is also known as Pure Isobutyraldehyde, it's a clear liquid with an almond-like odor. It has a strong sweetish taste and is soluble in water, ethanol and ether. The chemical formula of grade 99% is (CH3)2COH which means it contains one carbon molecule and two hydrogen molecules.


Grade 98%:


Grade 98% is also known as Methyl Isobutyl Carbinol (MIBC) and it is a type of butyl alcohol. It has the chemical formula as C4H10I2, which means it’s a linear alkyl group with 100 carbon atoms in it. MIBC has 4 hydroxyl groups and 10 carbon atoms chains, which are connected by single bonds. The molecule looks like an elongated pentane molecule.
