A mica paper capacitor is a type of capacitor that uses sheets of mica as the dielectric material. This type of capacitor is used in high-frequency applications, where its low loss and high stability make it ideal. High Voltage:


High voltage is the electrical energy greater than 1000V. The high voltage segment includes two types of products, namely Mica Paper Capacitor (MPC) and Carbon Black Mica Capacitor (CBM). MPC is a type of super capacitor which has an extremely large surface area to volume ratio. It can be used as a substitute for electrolytic capacitors when short circuit current and temperature rise above operating limits.


Low Voltage:


Low voltage is the name given to electrical equipment with a lower power rating than 1,000 volts. Low voltage equipment is used for domestic purposes such as vacuum cleaners and electric shavers. The low power of low voltage equipments makes them suitable for use in electronic circuits that require small values of capacitors but need high enough voltages to operate the circuit components safely.
