MEMS microphone is a digital device used to convert sound waves into electrical signals. It has an array of sensors for detecting sound and a tiny little chip for processing the information. The MEMS microphones are very small in size, they can be attached or embedded inside mobile devices or other electronic equipment. They are also available as 3D-printed masksing designs that can be stuck onto any regular old speaker grills (the kind found on laptops, tablets, phones etc.
