2K is a resolution level commonly used for television sets and computer monitors. The 2K resolution level has a horizontal width and length of 1,920 pixels. It has twice the horizontal width and four times the vertical height compared to standard definition (SD) video which has a width and height of 1,480 by 720 pixels respectively.


4K:


4K or 4,000 pixels is a multiple of the HDTV (High-definition television) resolution. It has four times the number of lines as compared to the conventional 1080p HDTV. The image quality is much better than that of a regular Full HD projectors and it’s used for displaying ultra-high definition videos and images. A 4K projector can display an image with more clarity than that of a high definition TV due to its higher resolution.
