Diesel Generator:


A diesel generator is a device used to convert the energy from a fossil-fuel based source into electric energy. The most common sources of fuel for generators are diesel and gasoline. These fuels are used in internal combustion engines that produce electricity through the process of thermodynamic efficiency, i.e., by converting the chemical potential of a substance into kinetic energy in an adiabatic process.


Diesel generators work on two basic principles namely mechanical principle.
