Motor Vehicle Leasing is the contractual agreement between a lessor and lessee for the use of a motor vehicle. The importance of Motor Vehicle Leasing is that it allows businesses to acquire vehicles without having to make a large capital investment. Passenger Cars:


Passenger cars are generally designed for the transportation of 15 to 8 passengers and are used for commercial purposes. Passenger cars can be segmented into two types: Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV). LCVs include pick up vans while HCVs include van or truck bodies with between 7 & 15 seats.


Commercial Vehicles:


Commercial vehicles include trucks, buses, and vans. They are designed for the transportation of goods and passengers. The goods can be loaded either on a trailer or in the body of the vehicle itself. Commercial vehicles have a higher load capacity as compared to passenger cars which enables them to carry more cargo at once without paying loading penalties or having to change routes.
