Food grade nonyl acetate is a colorless liquid with an odor similar to nail polish remover. It is soluble in water and ethanol. The product has applications as an additive for the food industry and as a solvent in industries such as printing, cosmetics, adhesives, paints & coatings and pharmaceuticals.
