Bio-based Polyamide (PA) 1010, also known as nylon 11, is a form of polymer. PA is produced from the chemical reaction between olefin and ammonia.


Petroleum-based PA 1010:


Petroleum-based polyacrylate 1010 is a polymer with high molecular weight, which is obtained from the polymerization of acrylonitrile, propylene and butadiene. It has several properties such as excellent chemical resistance, good thermal stability and low moisture absorption. Petroleum-based polyacrylates are used in applications where high temperature resistance is required along with other properties such as abrasion resistance and toughness are also useful in manufacturing nylon 6 products.
