Product Definition:


An oil dehydrator is a piece of equipment used to remove water from oil. This is important because water can cause problems in an engine, such as corrosion and decreased performance. An oil dehydrator removes the water from the oil, leaving behind a clean and dry product that can be safely used in an engine.


5 GPM:


5 GPM is the flow rate of liquid in gallons per minute. It is used to measure the velocity of a fluid that can be either directed or sprayed and hence, it can also be used for liquids with viscosities ranging from water to motor oil. The higher the 5 GPM number, generally means more efficient and faster dehydrating process.


10 GPM:


The oil-based dehydrators use the temperature of the oil to dehydrate food. The heat is generated by a small electric motor that runs through the tubes connected to an energy source, such as a battery. Oil-based dehydrators are inexpensive and commonly used for drying herbs, spices, and other cooking ingredients. They can also be used for drying tobacco leaves or marijuana seeds if desired (but they must be changed frequently).
