An oval gear flow meter is a type of positive displacement flow meter that uses two rotating gears to measure the volume of fluid passing through it. The gears are mounted in such a way that their axes intersect at right angles, and the teeth on the gears mesh together to form an oval-shaped channel through which the fluid passes. As the gears rotate, they move relative to each other and create an increasing or decreasing volumetric displacement in the channel, which can be measured and used to calculate the volume of fluid passing through. Oval gear flow meters are often used for measuring high-viscosity fluids or fluids with particulates present, as they are less likely to become clogged than other types of positive displacement meters.


Small Capacity:


Small capacity is a term used for measuring torque in the range of 0.1 to 0.9 Nm and is mostly used in gear flow meters where high accuracy and stability are required. The small-capacity sensors are also known as torque sensors or force sensors, which measure forces between two gears without any permanent physical connections other than the magnetic field created by the current through winding of a transformer core around an iron core filament.


Medium Capacity:


The medium capacity is a type of gear flow meter that has an accuracy of approximately 2% and can measure the torque up to a speed of 1,000 rpm. They are used in applications where high accuracy is not required such as automotive transmission and engine power measurement.
