The ozone gas produced has higher oxygen content than normal oxygen and can penetrate more deeply into water or air. HPDO is used for disinfecting drinking water, swimming pools, commercial & residential buildings, streets & highways and other surfaces in contact with people and their environment.


Corona Discharge Ozone Disinfection:


Corona discharge ozone disinfection is a technology used for the treatment of water by producing Ozone. It uses a chemical reaction between liquid chemicals and oxygen to produce Ozone which has many uses in the medical sector, industrial sector and household sector. The main use of this technology is to sanitize drinking water by eliminating bacteria, viruses & other microorganisms present in it.


Application Insights:


The others application segment accounted for the largest revenue share of over 30% in 2017. The other applications include textiles, semiconductor packaging, and surface disinfection. Surface disinfections are carried out by ozonation of water using O3 or O2 gas in high pressure tanks followed by discharging the ozone-enhanced water onto surfaces such as concrete, wood and metal.
