The reagent grade material is used to make large quantities of P-Toluenesulfonyl Hydrazide (P-TSA) for industrial use such as that by DuPont de Nemours & Co., which uses it to produce Teflon resins and other polymers for their film and fibers business.
Industrial Grade:
Industrial grade is a type of hydrazine that has passed through several purification processes and is intended for industrial use. It is a colorless, toxic, corrosive gas with an odor similar to garlic. Industrial grade contains impurities such as sulfur compounds & moisture which can be removed by dry distillation or other suitable methods. The yield from the process depends on the purity of raw material used in production and final product quality desired.

The product helps enhance rubber compound flowability, thus making them less likely to form deposits during storage or when exposed to sunlight.
