Palm oil-based natural oil polyols are a group of thermally stable, clear, and hydrophobic synthetic resins that are manufactured by the catalytic oxidation of ethylene. They have applications in paints & coatings, adhesives & sealants, and other industrial sectors. The product is commercially available in various forms including emulsion (EP/LP), solid (F6016) and liquid (F6020).


PolyGreen F6037:


PolyGreen F6037 is a high performance, renewable and biodegradable polymer. It has been developed from naturally derived materials such as palm oil and sugarcane bagasse. PolyGreen F6037 offers excellent processability for manufacturing high-performance polyurethanes (PU) with low density & good flow characteristics.


Application Insights:


Flexible foam was the dominant application segment and accounted for over 70% of total volume in 2017. Palm oil-based natural oil polyols are used as a replacement for petroleum-based flexible foams due to their better mechanical properties, low cost and high sustainability.


The others segment includes engine coolants, industrial lubricants, plasticizers and fuel additives. palm oil based natural oil polyols are increasingly being utilized as plasticizers in various end-use industries owing to their high molecular weight which results in improved physical properties compared to traditional petrochemical derived plastics.
