The wheel speed sensor is an electronic device installed in vehicles to measure the rotational speed of the wheels. It is used for determining vehicle stability and preventing accidents caused due to sudden changes in vehicle momentum.
Passive:
Passive wheel speed sensors are used to measure the rotational speed of the vehicle. It is an indirect measurement that uses a shim or a weight to convert linear movement into circular motion.
