PCD is an acronym for Programmable Clock Driver. It is a device that allows clock signals to be generated and distributed with greater flexibility than would be possible with standard oscillators. PCDs are used in a wide variety of electronic applications, including computers, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control systems.


PDSs:


Plasmanic Densities of Stars (PDSs) is a term used to define the average density of stars in a given volume element. The PDSs are derived by measuring the mass, radius and temperature for each star present in an image. The derived values are then used to calculate the total mass, energy and other physical properties of each image pixel.


PDCs:


PDCs are Programmable Controllers and it is used in the program and data communications. It provides a high level of security for the embedded systems by offering encryption capabilities. The major applications of PDCs include smart cards, mobile phones, personal computers, electronic passports or e-passports, digital certificates etc.


Application Insights:


The mechanical device application segment accounted for the largest market share in 2017 and is projected to witness significant growth over the forecast period.
