Piperazine phosphate is a white crystalline solid and has a slight odor. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether and diethyl ether. Piperazine derivatives are used as intermediates for the synthesis of pesticides such as parathion, malathion and diazonium salts which are widely used to control pests in agriculture fields.
