It also has a higher glass transition temperature (Tg) as compared to standard polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Industrial grade PBAT exhibits superior physical properties such as toughness and dimensional stability at room temperature which makes it suitable for applications requiring impact resistance.


Food Grade:


Food grade is the standard used for classifying edible products. It is a type of grade that finds its major application in food & beverage industry. Food-grade poly (butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) has been used as an alternative to Poly (vinylidene chloride) in ice cream and frozen dairy product applications on account of being more environmentally friendly and suitable for human consumption.
