Product Definition:


A synthetic fiber made from the polymerization of acrylonitrile, used especially for making carpets and rugs, textiles, and tire cords.


Wet Spinning:


Wet spinning is a continuous process of converting raw fiber into yarns or fabrics by using wet spinning technique. In this process, the fibers are passed through water sprays which separate them and form long, thin filaments. These fibers are then gathered into a spinneret and converted into yarns or fabrics with high strength and dimensional stability.


Dry Spinning:


Dry spinning is a method of preparing high-grade industrial yarns and fabrics by using low speed and comparatively less power. The process does not involve any use of water or oil as in wet spinning, which helps to reduce the formation of impurities during the preparation process.


The method involves two types of spinneret: one for liquid fiber (PAN) and another for semi-liquid fiber (Nylon 6).


Application Insights:
