PA 6:


PA 6, also known as Polyamide 6 or PA66 is a kind of synthetic polymer and it has similar properties with nylon. PA 66 has been increasingly used for manufacturing safety glass in automotive sector on account of its high strength to weight ratio.

PA 66:


PA 66 is a high-performance polyamide, which offers excellent toughness and wear resistance. PA 66 has been used in the production of tires for heavy trucks and automobiles. However, with the growing demand for lightweight vehicles across the globe, PA 66 usage has reduced significantly in tire manufacturing on account of its higher weight compared to other synthetic rubbers such as EPDM rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
