Polybenzimidazoles (PBI) are a class of synthetic polymers that have been used in various industrial and commercial applications since their discovery in the early 1950s. PBI is an aromatic, thermally stable polymer with a high melting point that is resistant to chemical degradation. It has found use as a corrosion-resistant coating for metal surfaces, as an additive to fuel oils and other lubricants, and in other applications where resistance to heat or chemical attack is required.

Granule is a particle size agent used in polybenzimidazoles (PBI) production. Granules are made from silica and alumina, two minerals that are very hard. The main function of granules is to increase the surface area of PBI particles which makes them more reactive during polymerization.

Powder:
Powder is a fine, dry solid and has no taste or odor. It is made from an assortment of chemicals including an anti-caking agent, dye, plasticizer and pigment among others. Powder form of the product can be easily incorporated into food products such as baked goods along with beverages to improve their texture and appearance.
