Polybutanediol succinate (PBS) is a polyester derived from butanediol and succinic acid. It is used as a synthetic plasticizer, primarily in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) applications.

Biological base is also known as biobase, it is a colorless and water-soluble organic compound. It plays an important role in the synthesis of many chemicals such as antibiotics, amino acids, vitamins and proteins. The chemical formula for biological base is (HCO3)2. It consists of two parts hydrogen (H+) and one part carbon (C). Its salts include urea, DMEA Urea., formamide etc.


Petroleum Base:


Petroleum base is a colorless liquid that is produced from crude oil during the refining process. It consists of various components such as paraffins, heavy oils, and waxes. The primary component used in PBS production is butane-2-naphtha which has a high boiling point (78 °C) and low viscosity making it an ideal solvent for polybutylene succinate (PBS) production.

The others segment includes personal care, textile and leather, adhesives and sealants, coatings and inks. Polybutanediol succinate is used as a processing aid for manufacturing various products such as paints, coatings, adhesives for footwear soles (sticky tapes), textiles (carpets), medical devices & equipment (orthopedic shoes) among others.
