A portable fluid chiller is a device that is used to cool fluids. They are often used in industrial or commercial settings, where there is a need to keep fluids at a certain temperature. Portable fluid chillers can be either air-cooled or water-cooled, and they come in different sizes and capacities.


Water Cooled:


Water-cooled chiller is a closed system that uses water as the coolant and refrigerant. The refrigerant used is usually a mixture of water and CO2, but can be any other liquid/gas combination. In this process heat generated by the electrical components or from the equipment is passed to the cold water which then becomes ice and does notifying work of removing heat from equipment/components thus reducing temperature.


Air Cooled:


An air-cooled chiller is a heat exchanger which uses ambient air as the cooling medium. The fluid that is to be cooled does not contact with the metal surface of the device, instead it absorbs heat from the ambient air by convection or radiation. Air-cooled chiller can be used for both industrial and domestic purposes; they are most commonly used in portable refrigeration systems such as freezers, coolers, and ice boxes among others.
