30 to 45 °C is the lowest temperature that can be effectively used in a portable thermal camera. Lowering the operating temperature of a device helps increase battery life and performance. The major factor responsible for this phenomenon is heat dissipation. As long as there is not much heat generation, 30 to 45 °C will work fine; but once it starts generating more heat than we can handle, lowering the operating temperature will help us out tremendously by extending battery life and improving performance.
